NRECA International is seeking to hire General Manager to fill management position in a newly formed electric utility in West Africa. The General Manager will work as NRECA employees on a team to be fielded by NRECA under a contract to a private electric distribution utility. Candidate will be asked to make a two year commitment if selected for these positions. The position is as follows:
General Manager: The General Manager (GM) will oversee a team of senior electric utility professionals including an Administrative Manager; a Commercial Manager; an Engineering & Operations Manager; and a Manager of Accounting. The GM will report to the NRECA Vice President of Operations, and will also report to the Board of Directors of the electric distribution utility. He will supervise a staff of approximately 350 utility personnel, and will interface with local community leadership. Successful candidates should have a minimum of ten years of experience.
